netbeans problem - New Project does not show all the templates

Hi

I just installed NetBeans on Ubuntu (Feisty). The New Project window does not all the options, for e.g., the standard category under New Project ( there is no General Category!) does not have Java Application template. It only has "Java Project with exisiting Ant Script". How do I get the other options also, is there something I am missing during installation?

I think it was due to a corrupt download (although nothing showed up during download or installation). But I got hold of a DVD sent by Netbeans and installed from there. Now it works fine.
