I'm running CentOS 5 as a "home server", and it is the computer attached to my Samsung ML-1710 printer, I have CUPS running so my wife and I can print wirelessly.

Anyway, the latest CUPS update broke the ability for the Windows machine to print via CUPS. Searching around the web, I noticed on a RHEL board that a similar problem happened to one fellow, and he switched the driver to RAW and it worked again.

Anyone else heard of this, or had this problem? Is there a better way to fix it than switch to the RAW driver in CentOS?

BTW, it weirdly works fine for me to print from the CentOS machine or my FreeBSD/Mint laptop. It's just that stupid WinXP that I can't talk my wife into getting rid of.
