So, I'm newER to Ubuntu, I've been fully booting Ubuntu since early May and I'm a big geek, knew my way in and out of windows and computers. Now, I'm a little lost, I just want to find a book that could potentially get me or help me to the level at which I knew windows. I'll listen to any suggestions. Doesn't need to be a quick read but I also don't mind a used copy that'd be cheap. (College student! :) )

Do NOT get that one. It's very carelessly put together. The author (who's writing I normally like) wrote Fedora Unleashed, and this is just the same book with the word Ubuntu replacing Fedora. And at times not even that. For instance at one point it suggests installing an app using Yum, it spends pages on describing the media players XMMS and Beep Media Player but hardly mentions Rhythmbox. I've got nothing against these tow players. However the default player for Ubuntu is Rhythmbox, and the others aren't even installed!

I suggest Ubuntu Linux Bible (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ubuntu-Linux-Bible-Wiley/dp/0470038993/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/026-9399520-0692404?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181342273&sr=8-1) instead.

Ok, good, I actually have that one in a digital download I got during a slickdeal sale not too long ago. Cool, now I'll just browse through that! Thanks!! :)

There's a list of a bunch of commands in my signature, I'm sure you'll find them interesting.

Plenty of reading material :) .
