I played this (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/05097/) game a while ago, but I recently became interested in it again.
The concept is simple, you make your own nation and get presented with many issues, such as compulsory voting, gay marriage etc. For every issue, there are three possible ways in whcih you can deal with it, and the way you do will be shown in the way your nation evolves.
So, just wanted to post it to you guys. Join me in the Ubuntu (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/05097/page=display_region) Region.

Count me in! That game owns! The way it demonstrates the effects of your political decisions is very interesting.

it's fun for a while but after a few months you'll start to get the same issues over and over. i lost interest and my nation disappeared. if you get an issue that is just putting you in a bad spot no matter which option just dismiss it. the ones that are pretty much win win are the ones to look out for.

No, neither of those scenarios are possible, unless you get deleted for rule violations. And there is no end for the game, you can keep petting your nation as long as you want to.

But even though there is a lot of issues and anyone can submit new issues anytime there is not an unlimited amount of them, so sooner or later you will run into the same issues again and again, guess that can be seen as the end of the game.

I joined Nation-States as HydroMorphin three days ago and already have had the same issue twice, resulting in contradictory statements in my nation profile.

"Voting is voluntary, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, voting is compulsory, and military funding has been stripped back"

I asked for a resolution to this problem and was told it was known known bug that is not going to be fixed, because it would require a complete rewrite of the game.

All the same I'm going to continue playing and see how my nation evolves.

Greetings and salutations from the creator of the dark side of the force region. I have wired you a telegram to extend an invitation to this thrivingly populated place of discussion of the dark side and any other topic that may or may not tickle your fancy. Feel free to check out the region first before you join. I doubt that you will not be pleased with our excellence here. So think it over and join to learn the unnatural powers of the dark side! If you are on the boarder of whether you should join, let me know your thoughts and maybe I can persuade you to do so. And if you decide to not join, then I hope our nations and regions can exit and prosper peacefully and maybe someday be known as allies. Thank you for your time.
