For some reason I can't get localhost or 127.0.0.1 to respond to pings or any access attempts (browser, webmail extension for thunderbird), etc..
vforviktor@localhost:~$ ping 127.0.0.1
PING 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
and that's it. I know some things like hibernate have trouble working when Wubi is used, so I'm just wondering if localhost is one of those issues.
