It appears my post have been moved to this thread as a moderator PM'ed me about it; http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=460369

I can't see this thread. What is going on here? Why is it that it has been moved and why can't I access it?

What is wrong with criticism?

Nothing is wrong with criticism. Your two posts were merely part of a 30-post thread. The whole thread was moved to the jail because it had degraded into a flame-fest. There wasn't anything to keep that was constructive or useful going on in the thread...just a bunch of complaints back and forth with scattered other comments in between.

I've reviewed the posts, and the thread belongs in the jail.

The jail isn't visible to all users because it is also where all the spam (including porn spam and link spam) ends up. By closing off access to the jail those posts do not get indexed by web crawlers for search engines, therefore the original spam sites do not gain from having links from our forums. By keeping the posts, we have evidence available of wrong if it is needed. We don't have the staff hours available to clean every post--that's the reason for doing it this way.
