About a year ago I found a site online where you could volunteer to be an 'expert' on a topic and you could help people with live requests for help. You could also just pop in and request help on a basic subject. Either way, it was 100% live...

I've forgotten what it was called. I used to volunteer there, as well as ask the other volunteers MANY questions. One of the biggest topics discussed by the experts was Ubuntu.

So it's a web-based chat/collaboration software designed for tech support for the people by the people.

Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?

Well, that wasn't the one I was looking for, but it actually looks like it could be BETTER than the old one! Thanks!

that's a subscription site you have to pay for, there are plenty of free help forums available, and probably as good as, if not better:D
