Can't you use a LiveCD to get into the Windows files and retrieve the lost work?

This isn't actually my desk. It' s the desk of the guy across me. We are currently understaffed so he had to use two computers: one to handle basic office work, and one to monitor one of the many chat rooms and forums we handle. If we could have it our way we would switch fully to Linux, but we need a windows machine to test most of the games our company is selling.

That blue screen happened with the PC idle by the way. I was showing him some new games for us to feature in one of our sites when his screen suddenly turned blue. :lol:

Well, the one with the LCD is the gaming PC I use to test some games so lol...
