I see for the laptops there's no price difference between E1505N (Ubuntu) and the E1505 (Vista Home Basic). No productivity software options. Here's the config I came up with:

My Components
Intel® Pentium® dual-core T2080(1MB Cache/1.73GHz/533MHz FSB
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display with TrueLife™(glossy)
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
80GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™
Integrated Audio

The Desktops are another story though. Take a E520N (Ubuntu) and a E520 (Vista Home Premium) and there's a $140 price spread. For the Vista system I didn't take any productivity software options. So....why no price spread on the laptops?

PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ 2 E6320 Duo Processor(4MB L2 cache,1.86GHz,1066FSB)
OPERATING SYSTEM Ubuntu Desktop Edition version 7.04
MONITORS No Monitor
MEMORY 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs edit
HARD DRIVE 250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache
OPTICAL DRIVE 48X CD-RW/ DVD Combo Drive
VIDEO CARD 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache
