Hi Everybody,

I was using Ubuntu 7.04 for a while on my laptop Dell D620. Since I have heard that Dell has chosen Ubuntu for some Desktops and Laptops I decided to run the project on my mind. I made a blog dedicated to D620+Ubuntu 7.04. I have seen nice similar sites about this configuration or some others. Since we can find general information from lots of sources on the internet I thought maybe this might help (or mostly for me to get help) on this specific combination.

I am not expecting very much interest but I do expect that I can meet some people that use the same hardware and software. The page will be like a blog note for my experience with Ubuntu.

Try it at http://linux.ferhatbingol.com if you are interested.

Cheers... :D

For some reason I can get 1280x800 but not 1440x900. If I set the BIOS mode to 1440x900 and set up xorg.conf for 1440x900, X just loads at 1024x768. If I do the same thing with 1280x800 it works fine. MADDENING!
