My friend got me into this Linux because it looks so nice and runs so fast. I was wondering if there was a program that allows me to run .exe programs. He said that i can run it with Wine or something and he also said that there was another thing that but you need a subscription. I need help. Where can i get this?

If you click on the add/remove button and type Wine it will pop up on as the first choice. Very simple to use. I usually do it from the terminal for example: "wine Frozen\ Throne.exe -opengl -window". I haven't came across a game yet that I haven't been able to play.
The other program is Cedega, but I don't have any experience with it.

No problem, another advice is that you poke around http://www.winehq.org/ AppDB in order to see HOWTO's on how to install games or other applications.

if you want to play WoW under Wine, make sure to read the howtos on the ubuntu wiki and on the wine appdb page for wow.
