In an application that I ma developing, I want to allow someone who browses a directory to be able to differentiate files based on some 'status'. Nautilus has the capability to add an emblem to the icon (like 'important'). You right click on a file and choose the emblem you want.
Now, does anyone know if this can be done from the command line so that it can be done automatically from within a program ? I guess it has to be in the file attributes, but have not been able to track it down.
