Here in Aus they run some great Totota/AFL football legendary moments ads. It`s kind of a thing to see who gets picked next to reenact an event that went down in AFL sporting history.

I remember this commercial, or something like it here in the states.

My all time favourite is a UK advert for Carling Black label from the 80's.

Thing is, it wasn't one, but 3 adverts. It invaded other adverts. It starts with a guy in the wild west getting lassooed by a gang, but he drags them off into the sunset.

It then seemingly starts a new advert for a romantic album, with a guy singing to his girlfriend, and the titles rolling along the bottom of the screen. All of a sudden, there is the wild west msuic, and the titles change to things like 'draggin in the dirt' etc and you see the bandit running across the screen pulling these other guys along. cut to end logo.

Next up, there is an advert with two housewives discussing washing powder in a supermarket, when all of a sudden, the wild west thing goes off and the bandit appears behind the other shelves. He then proceeds to drag these guys around the supermarket, and off into the sunset again.

It was hilarious.

I strongly believe that most commercials nowadays have become incredibly stupid, almost belittling the intelligence of the viewers. That said, there is only one that can hold my heart.
