Ubuntu causes "WAKE UP" function to not work

Ever since I installed Ubuntu, I've had a blast playing with it and learning new stuff. Only problem is, every morninig, I can't wake up like I used to. Is there some command that will fix this?

maybe have the wife use this command:


sudo wake_up_you_lousy_linux_addicted_*&^%$%!!!

This is not a software/command based issue, the issue is hardware... you one of three peices of hardware in order to do this starting from least effective to most effective Coffee -X2 Gallon Jug, Cocaine 0.25 Oz, Adrenaline 500mg.


Or, you could actually sleep at night instead of fiddling with your computer you sicko... lol just kidding I do it too.
