Being New to a Forum

Has anyone here joined a forum, wade your first real post, had it trashed by someone, and then decided not to go back to tha community?

I just had that happen. As much as I try to tell my self that maybe my post was out of line, I secretly know it wasn't. And as much as I know it probabsy wasn't the tone of the community, just one random tard, I can't bring myself to test this theory.

I guess I just have a hard time accepting the existance of mean-ness (is that a word?).

How often do you think this happens?

I know what you mean. I've had that happen a few times, and tend to avoid those places unless it's a last resort type of thing.

It's scary how much importancy we place on internet communities. I just really feel bad.
