Sweet! This is a project I have been longing for and they are making great progress. Ever since Cooledit 2000 was killed off by Adobe (#$%@) I have been wanting something that was similar to it. Jokosher is that something for me :-)
Really looking forward to an easy to install 1.0 version! :D

I gave it a quick test last night. It looks good and is pretty stable, but I found a few issues that I have reported on their forums. The main one was that the playback sound was garbled some of the time.
I've been waiting for a simple multi-track app to come along. Audacity is okay for some stuff, but is more of an editor really. I just want to record some basic songs with as little hassle as possible.
Give it a try and give their team some feedback (no, not that sort).
I installed using the two deb files at http://www.jokosher.org/download, plus python-setuptools.

I'm still running 6.10 and i would really like to try jokosher. I've been playing a bit with the one i installed from the repos but it think it is an pretty old version. It crashes a lot. Do you guys know if it possible to install 0.9 on Edgy without messing around my audio setup?
regards,
