thats a little dishonest is it? you cant just spy on him without his knowledge, its morally wrong, and probably illegal

I don't think you should spy on your brother just because you don't want him to use windows, he'll realize by himself the good things about linux.

I kinda agree with him. My little bro looked up porn and everything in Windows with Internet Explorer. We had to reformat because of all the junk. But this is Linux after all, so I dont know about that.

The thought of a brother who spys you out via keyloggers is disgusting. Oh, what a happy family that must be.

As you can tell...Linux users usually don't dig keyloggers. We also have a problem with DRM.

If you need to censor his internet because he is a child, then we do not have that feature currently, but it is being added soon because we want Ubuntu to be used in schools.

Have a nice day.

Spying on your own family is morally wrong. Leave him be.
Ubuntu favours a spirit of openness and cooperation over distrust.

A keylogger doesn't give you any control... Take a look at http://software.newsforge.com/software/04/06/23/1521209.shtml or http://dansguardian.org/

you could just install firefox on the windows partition and lock out IE

its simple enough to do.
if you take away the choice to use ie they will soon get cosy with the alternative.
i did this to my mum and sisters computers after explaining firefox to them and now they love firefox!
