whats the diff? A keyboard is a keyboard. Okay, if your using a wireless keyboard the the other end going into the computer will need the usb, or maybe just a fancy keyboard/mouse would need the usb because of something????

There is no advantage. The USB came after the fact and is the leading connector so you don't have to have 100 different ports on your computer. Plus, USB is powered unlike PS/2 connectors so it opens up additional abilities for the peripheral designers.

That would be considered an advantage :)

Wireless KBD/Mouse combo's can run just as well from PS/2. The only difference is hot plugging. If you unplug PS/2 mouse you can't plug it back in until you turn off the computer. With USB you can you can plug/unplug it all you want.
