I'm looking at this and thinking it might be a good addition, what do you guys think?

Its the defacto photo web app these days. Ubuntu debs are gallery or gallery2.

We should probably go with gallery2.

And we should also look into migrating from the tarball install of wordpress to the one in apt for the main site. It'll make keeping the site updated with security stuff much easier.

Yeah I think Ubuntu and Debian are great with the web apps like that. :)
