View Full Version : Since Dell has Pocket PCs, will this help improve Linux Pocket PC support?

Since Dell is manufacturing Pocket PCs and is going to sell computers with Linux pre-installed, does that mean that Dell will sponsor projects on syncing Pocket PCs with Linux or something like that?

I doubt there are any current plans for that at the moment but it is a very plausible future.

Yeah, that'll be nice. I was hoping to get a Linux PDA, but I keep on hearing conflicting reviews on the Nokia series. Then I checked out the iPaq, but of course, it's only windows based. If it's guaranteed that Linux will run perfectly on it, I may get it, but good info is hard to come by.

Dell got out of the PDA business in April.
