Daemon output

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could view the output of a (verbose) daemon? Namely btsco with the -f switch. Whenever I press a button on my headset btsco outputs "received AT..." blah blah and I want to watch for this (and other outputs) in a bash script and be able to call notify-send or something similar when appropriate.
