City of heroes

So I downloaded City of heroes and tryed to run it on Cedega.
I tryed to install it twice now. first on my own choosen location and then on programs defualt location.
but every time I try to start the game the updater just start to download the patch again.
coud not find any solution on the problem when searching. anyone who can help?

with that said it start the game after patch is downloaded, but don't wanna DL 2.3gb data every time I want to play :p

yea downloaded, just trial atm and you can get download the game from their site. no need to buy it in a store.

I had the same problem. I had to change the shortcut to CohUpdater.EU.exe

Run cedega, right click CoH shortcut > Edit Properties, fix Path to Program.
My path now is "/home/hellblade/.cedega/City of Villains/c_drive/Program Files/City of Heroes/CohUpdater.EU.exe"

But that was for the European client (servers)

thanks. tryed it but it did nothing happend when I changed the path. tryed to use US instead of EU.
not sure if that is right but not playing on the europe client.

Anyone got this to work on Ubuntu 7.10 with Cedega 6.X and the newest issue #11 of City of Heroes?

I keep Windows XP around to play this game and it's tiresome to reboot all the time to switch back and forth...

Looks like there's some troubles on the Cedega forum (http://www.cedega.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=49) but the threads are mostly old and I don't know how many actually play COH on Linux.

I got it to work pretty good in Wine 0.9.51. Here are som links:
