Has anyone successfully installed Metisse or Looking Glass on Ubuntu?

I saw Metisse, which is already in Mandriva, and Looking Glass. I think those projects are nice, but I do not know how to put them on my Ubuntu desktop.

After searching for them, I do not know of any Ubuntu user who successfully installed Metisse or Looking Glass on Ubuntu.

Have you successfully done it?
