Hi,

This is a question to the Canonical developers.

How do you feel about producing not just a personal desktop OS, but also a desktop OS that can be used in a small office / home office environment ?

This article inspired me:

I think the valid points are printing and small office enhancements.

Let's say I have 10 computers. One should act as file and printer server, the rest pure desktop clients.. Isn't it too difficult today to setup this quickly ? You would have to setup NFS up at both servers and clients and then the CUPS server. Especially the NFS part is too cumbersome I think. Are you thinking of ways to improve this ?

Christoffer

I think there are other distro's which will alow you to do that already.

However, as ubuntu develops, perhaps we'll see something like that.
