Plug and play compatible hardware

Is there a site for new Ubuntu users to go to find the hardware that is actually plug and play.

I read a lot about certain products that work out of the box but my luck is bad and I seam to only find the products that will not work at all or only work after many hours of seting up.

I'm sure there are a lot of new users that would continue to use this great product if only they knew the correct product to buy to run it easily.

I can start with a list of products that don't work.

now a days USB Mouse r easliy Plug and play or USB pen drives, you not even need to insatll any drivers.
