Resell ubuntu

i ordered 10 ubuntu cd's yesterday....(10 was the default no.)
i wanted to know that i need only 2 cd's can i sell the rest of them..... or is it prohibited by the copyright laws and all that....also if i make copies of them and sell them further?????????????????????

also i recently heard they were distributing the old customers who had not got cd;'s earlier....... can u tell me when will my order be shipped.....just leave the warehouse???????????

it's open source, so you can copy them as much as you want and sel them for as much as you want. But you really should give them away and spread the love ;)

man i dont like reselling..... but in the country i live...if i sell them for free then may be they will think that i am sellling some kind of a pirated stuff....... or maybe its a big 700 mb virus... nobody believes me unless they r paying for it............

understood. In that case I suggest a small price tag, and you can donate that money to ubuntu :) Or to whatever cause you choose.

Or hell you could keep it. It's your choice.
