Does anybody know where I can find some instructions on how to write lang files? I'm trying to add support for rhtml and rjs files for Ruby on Rails and struggling to get the syntax properly highlighted. I have had some success by looking at the .lang files for html and ruby (which rhtml is a combination of) but it is still not quite right.
Another problem is to then get an icon for these files - I have an icon in mind, but don't know how to get it associated with those files.
Does anybody know how to do this? I'd really like to get some good Rails support for Ubuntu/Linux and can't believe this hasn't been done already given the popularity of Rails recently.
