Hello Everyone, I work for a teaching/research institute in Ghana (www.aiti-kace.com.gh)that is attempting to host and distribute mirrors of linux distributions throughout the country and maybe the region. Right now we have mirrors of debian testing and unstable. There is demand for the Ubuntu repositories as well but we don't have enough bandwidth to download them in anything less than a month or two.

I'm hoping someone can send us a copy of the repository, maybe on DVDs so we can set up a local mirror and distribute it to whoever wants to host a local mirror.

If anyone is interested, our address is
Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT
Private Mail Bag
Accra
Ghana

Thanks a lot

This is the first time I have ever replied to a post but I think I can help you. I am in the middle of creating a set of repository DVD's for Feisty. I will let you have a copy as soon as I'm finished. Please let me know what version you are looking for and if DVD or CD is better. BTW for anyone else wondering how to do it -- http://www.howtoforge.com/dvd_images_of_ubuntu_repositories (http://www.howtoforge.com/dvd_images_of_ubuntu_repositories)
