Free subdomains?

After spending a while, I found that freedns.afraid.org (http://freedns.afraid.org) have free subdomains on offer. ATM, the page won't load, so I'm wondering if there are any other similar sites. I'm looking for something like .info.org etc., as opposed to .coolplacetobe.com. It needs to look similar to a real domain. The only other thing I need to have is nameserver control. Anyone know of anywhere?

I believe that www.uni.cc offers free subdomains, which lends itself to a pretty good URL, depending on what you're doing.
