Hi

I cant believe the trouble im having trying to buy an Epox motherboard. I live in the uk and it seems im totally cut off. I can get epox at a jacked up price along with a huge postage fee from ebay but thats it!

Epox dont reply to email, Newegg dont ship to UK. Tried lots of sites on net, no luck.

Any ideas????

From the Epox website:

http://www.epox-europe.com/resellers/

No UK Reseller, but they have an email link for if you can't find a reseller near you.

Ive tried the email link more than once. Its for there .nl office. They never replied. Most of the resellers on that page dont actually stock the boards. Epox usa replied but were difficult to talk to, were not that interested + wanted $50 postage.

UK trade cant get them either.

Seems theres only two places on the planet. NewEgg in USA and Wantitall in south africa. Boards get excellent write ups. Good prices and support old and new hardware.

Ive even tried Tiwain office.

My last hope unless anybody else can tell me different is that Wantitall opens a uk website soon!

$50.00 for a motherboard? Is $25 of it for insurance?

To be honest I dont know. I just see $50 postage then run around screaming! :lolflag:

I cant get from usa because if thats the postage and I have any problems with the board it will cost me a fortune to resolve.

Amen to that, brother! I just looked up a quick rate for 5 lbs from usa to london, and surface, 4 to 6 weeks is 18 bucks, but air is 34 to 70+ bucks. Ouch!

i use an epox motherboard and as far as i know they are no longer they are part of something like amd etc
as they were part of amd development in their previous life they were super boards as far as I'm concerned

You may want to post the epox board model in question. It may allow members to help you find another brand with the same features as the one in question that might be available where you are.

A lot of peeps havent heard of them but a few reviews in the states rate them above Abit and Asuss. A 6 month old second hand epox board sold for more than its r.r.p in the uk on ebay.

A guy who used to supply in the uk told me they are now like rockin horse sh*t over here. He thinks you cant get because of some trade agreement. But even he cant find out why????

Fast contemplating getting from USA on $50 postage

Overclockers got back to me and told me the epox range was withdrawn from the uk.

Well it looks like a plane flight to the USA then! :lolflag:

Any other ideas ?????
