Best Screen Recording Software

what is your favorite app to record a desktop session? i'm planning to share videos with some friends (maybe by youtube) and i was wondering which is the best. Right now i'm using Istanbul 0.2.1 :KS

i don't know the definition of what is "best" :popcorn:

but recordmydesktop is a good one

in the terminal, to install


sudo apt-get install recordmydesktop gtk-recordmydesktop

or you can install via ADD/remove in applications menu.
