Which Ubuntu book?

Hi, I would like some advice on choosing a book to help with using and learning to use Ubuntu. I was thinking about, "The Official Ubuntu Book". Any other suggestions, I need a book for total beginner. Would this book also be useful if I was to use Kubuntu instead of Ubuntu?

Beginning Ubuntu Linux, by Keir Thomas or Ubuntu Unleashed, by Andrew Hudson & Paul Hudson. I think the book I really grab the most is Linux Phrasebook, by Scott Granneman. It's command line stuff, & really is useful. Of course I like reference material so I always check the clearence stack too. I'll look for that book now. Thanks.

Beginning Ubuntu (http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Ubuntu-Second-Novice-Professional/dp/1590598202/ref=pd_bbs_sr_6/104-8427620-6340710?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1177900319&sr=8-6) is a great place to start. I was not overly inpressed with the official Ubuntu book but it did have some interesting historical/philosophical info. I recently picked up Hacking Ubuntu (http://www.amazon.com/Hacking-Ubuntu-Serious-Customizations-ExtremeTech/dp/047010872X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_8/104-8427620-6340710?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1177900319&sr=8-8). I have not spent a lot of time with it yet but it seems a good tool for moving beyond the basics. I also like Ubuntu Hacks (http://www.amazon.com/Ubuntu-Hacks-Tools-Exploring-Tuning/dp/0596527209/ref=pd_bbs_sr_7/104-8427620-6340710?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1177900319&sr=8-7). It has a lot of good tips/fixes for many common questions/issues.

As dagrump suggests, the Linux Phrasebook might be the most useful simply because knowing the command line is so useful in any Linux distro.

If you are a novice (new beginner with unshakable faith in Linux) then go for "The official Ubuntu book" or "Ubuntu for non geeks". But if you have some prior knowledge then buy "Ubuntu hacks".

Also you don't have to stick to distro specific books to get the info you need.
