I just downloaded realplayer for linux and I guess it came with native mp3 support cuz im jammin :guitar:

It will tel you how to install the necessary codecs.

Well, of course there's no need for RealPlayer just to listen to some mp3.

On the same topic, LinDVD also offers DVD playback (without libdvdcss, so it isn't illegal in the US). It's available in Mandriva 2007 (not 2007.1) boxed versions, or also for purchase separately I believe. If anyone is looking for a legal solution, check it out.

using real player is the "Legal" way to play mp3s on linux.
