has anyone else seen this commercial?
this apartment is full of records, and some guy "goes digital" and converts them all to mp3's, then replaces the record player with an iPod (ostensibly) as a "surprise" for his girlfriend. i think it was to advertise Radio Shack. but the split-second shot of Audacity running on his computer, which was really only obvious when i paused the dvr, stuck out more to me.
personally, i'd be upset if someone disposed of my records.

While I was checking out the electronic sention at FredMeyer (http://www.fredmeyer.com/), I saw that Audacity comes included when you buy a Sound Card. I don't know what brad was it.
PS: No, you cannot find it in their website. I was walking in person.

I saw audacity being demonstrated on some QVC-type show, selling low-end computers. They were demonstrating how to make a ringtone from an mp3 file.

Don't bring up QVC...
I have basic-(basic) cable and it only goes up to channel 23(starz) and QVC took out channel 18, formerly known as Discovery channel
