TechShow Reminder

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Tech Show (http://www.techbirmingham.com/default.aspx?id=171) is Tuesday, May 1st at the McWayne Center from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. I will be there representing the Alabama LoCo Team and the Bham Lug. I may be working the registration desk from 5:00 to 6:30 then I will be at the booth with the others. We will have Flyers and CD's to give out as well as a couple of demonstration laptops set up as well.
Please be sure to attend if you are inthe area.

Well The tech mixer went pretty good. We gave out about 75 CDs, Flyers, and Business Cards. I will try to make a page on our wiki tonight. I also plan on delivering 2 computers to my daughters school today.
I will try to get a couple pictures from that as well.
There are 3 images available right not from the mixer. Sadly, I spent most of my time talking to people and not much time clicking pictures. To of the images shown are of the local Lug introducing Ubuntu to the Microsoft table. This was extremely entertaining. One of the guys didn't speak, but judging by the look on his face, had he spoken, it would not have been a pleasant conversation.
I will try to get a couple more pictures up tonight as well.

With the upcoming meeting Sunday I hope to discuss plans of yet another show, possible a Frag/Ubuntu Show!

Looks like fun. Sorry I missed out on it. What time is the meeting Sunday? I'll try to make it if possible. With this impending move coming up...things are upside down here. :^/
