One of the things that a lot of LoCo teams have is a Planet (http://www.planetplanet.org/) where blogs of team members are aggregated, you can check out the official Ubuntu Planet (http://planet.ubuntu.com/) for some idea if you aren't familiar with planets.

How much interest is there for this? Do enough of us blog to make it worthwhile? The blogs don't have to be Ubuntu related - or even technically related - it's just a glimpse into the lives of members of the team and I think it's great for giving a more personal feel.

I would start a blog for it if there was enough interest to make it worthwhile.

Maybe it would inspire me to actually update my blog...

hi elizabeth,

this is a good idea. it might give us a better understanding of each other. i secretly want to know more about my fellow LoCo comrades. my wife and i have a completely non-techie blog about our daughter (http://meetzoe.blogspot.com/) that we've been maintaining for about a year. it could have some useful info for those of you thinking about haveing kids ;-)

I have a blog that I stopped updating because I didn't think anyone read it. But I'd be more interested in blogging if there were a PA planet I could jump in on. :)

I think I'm in the same boat as others.

I've gotten a blog that has been pretty pointless. This could be motivation to keep it up to date and give it a bit of focus. :-)

Great! We are in favor of having a Planet.

We'll be putting it together this weekend and early next week, looking at a Go Live day of mid to late next week.

So we need your blog urls! Post your links here, along with the name you want associated with the blog (Real and/or Nickname) - if you want to include a Hackergotchi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hackergotchi) you can email it to me (Lyz@PrincessLeia.com) and I'll make sure it gets up.

Maybe I'll create a hackergotchi one of these days....
