I bought an E6600 from the "egg" over the weekend, it should be here tomorrow. I got it for $235 and free shipping. :)

I wish I had some more extra $$$ and I would upgrade my other three boxes too.

They are slashed because intel just announced their new processors which are supposedly another 40% faster!

We are at an exciting time in proc development right now. We have reached the end of our transistor to heat limit and we are working on efficiency instead of speed! If you think, the core 2 duo was considered 40% faster than the Pentium 4, so these new procs are 80% faster! That is a LOT!

I wish I could get my hands on a cheap Pentium M to replace my Celeron M. Even a used one would be great.

Anyone know where I can get a Pentium M cheap, new or used ?

You are wrong, your math is off.
1.4 * 1.4 = 1.96 . So these are 96 percent faster, actually. You are calculating percentages from from base.
