google reader is so slow to load?

I am trying to read my feeds with google reader and it seem so slow to get started. How about you?

I have a really hard time using Google services at school. It sometimes helps to use https:// instead of http://. I don't know if that will work for you, but it might.

that is what I am using. I see that it is out of beta now, maybe this is why

This might sound crazy, but since I installed Stylish and the new look for google reader, it seems noticably quicker. I have heard other people mention this; although it may be psychological as the "Loading" graphic is a faster animation ;-)
