Why did the 6.06 to 6.10 upgrade bring new sounds and artwork (after four months) but after the 6 months between 6.10 and 7.04 we've had no changes to any of these things.

New login, new wallpapers, new system sounds... smaller, visual improvements that make the release feel newer.

A new boot system that isn't functional yet, new disk useage diagrams, a restricted hardware manager and some compiz effects that run semi-stable on computers with certain graphics cards hardly screams new release.

Any sounds/artwork on the way? Have they been upgraded and I missed a package? Are there any third party (yet relevant) ones available online? :)

... nobody know? Or agree? Or disagree...?

Feisty has more icons (and improvements to the existing ones), a new login screen, a new wallpaper, a new Gnome loading screen, a new boot-from-CD screen, and a slightly modified OS loading screen.

The changes are subtle, but they certainly are there.

Sounds are not changed. Don't blame me for that. I also insisted on the new art vision FF should have.
