The Linux Proliferation Agreement seems like a great idea. I get the feeling that many of us here would like to seriously contribute to Ubuntu and to the Linux or Open Source movements ourselves, but feel we might lack the technical or artistic skills. I think many users of Linux do 'their bit' to assist new users or even 'convert' others, but without this sort of structured approach most of it seems peice-meal.

The strength that an organisation might bring could help make major changes, such as the inclusion of alternatives to Microsoft products in the ECDL. I for one will be keeping an eye on this thread to see what others might think.

Hi. Can I first say a word of thanks to all those that helped giving attention to the article on my weblog. It was fascinating to see the various responses and I do feel encouraged by those who support the idea and/or willing to help out. There is enough support to actually start building the proper infrastructure and create ideas, a roadmap and some solid initiatives.
