Every time a program requires the system password to continue, Orca stops speaking until the program is closed. Somewhere there was a document explaining some sort of workarround for this, but the page I had a link for doesn't contain the document anymore.
I've tried launching Orca from the terminal with sudo, and then speech works for administrative tasks, but not for regular user tasks. it seems you can't have two instances of Orca running: one for the regular user and one for super user.
Anyone knows of a way to have speech both in and out of administrative tasks?
