How do you make it show, your display picture and the contacts display picture at the same time? I really mess that feature from the Microsoft client

Well after installing all the others, it says I am missing the tk8.5 (The last link), but is a different format. How do I install it?

I guess nesh87 has posted the wrong link for tk.
Try this one:
http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb//pool/edgy/3v1n0/tk8.5_8.5.0.a5-3v1ubuntu0_i386.deb
You'll probably need this one as well:
http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb//pool/edgy/3v1n0/tile_0.7.8-3v1ubuntu0_i386.deb

I downloaded the four debs from the first post and installed them starting with tk8.5, then tcltls followed by tcl8.5. No problems here.
However when I tried to install the amsn_0.97 deb I get an error message stating that "Dependendies are not satisfiable: tile"
What's this about?
BTW, the links provided in the post from luizfar really seemed to mess things up on my machine. Indeed, it's the first time I've ever come across anything even remotely similar to a virus attack in Linux. Anybody else have this problem?

It even has voice support
OK, I've got aMSN 0.97 installed but I sure can't find the voice support.
Any clues?

Wait, how did you solve the "tile" problem? I have the same problem here.

Yes, the tile problem.
The reason I didn't give a more scientific explanation of how I got out of this is simply that I don't really know completely.
I vaguely remember during one of my earçier attempts (today) to install aMSN a small window appeared (of its own accord) asking did I want to install this tile deb. As I didn't know where it came from, or why, I said no, and then removed it to trash.
However, just after I wrote the post appealing for help with this tile thing, I remember it must still be in the trash.
So, I retrieved it, installed it and the rest is history.
I really believe it showed up by itself when I was trying to install the aMSN deb without having installed all the other debs first.
Sorry, I can't give you a more complete explanation.

Well, tile isn't in the repositries, and I can't find any deb file at all that even relates to tile. I've search the aMSN WIki and forums, and as far as I know, no sign of anything. :(
Can anyone help?

k.. please help. all of a sudden when i open msn i'm greated with a blank window. nothing at all is in there.. I have it set to auto sign in.. and i have the following plugins enabled
nudge
dual display
inkdraw
remind me
just those 4 and up to my post stating how to get audio with tclsnack it was working.. but since yesterday its been bugging.. IF i remove and re-install it works.. but it just doesn't make any sense.. I"m contemplating deleting the .amsn folder in my home dir and then re-installing to get rid of whatever the hell is causing this problem.
I'ld like to know irrespective of me fixixng it.. what would cause the problem. If anyone knows please shed some light.
Thank you..

I've downloaded all the suggested debs/files, and it's not showing up in my Apps tray.
Any suggestions?
Update: aMSN is showing up in my Apps tray, but now will not load itself. I click on the icon that I put on the desktop and it says "loading aMSN" and then it just quits.
HALP!
