This is sensational news for Ubuntu. It shows people that Microsoft is screwing up big time. I also see Microsoft's marketing machine here trying to put spin on this by saying, "Dell is responding to a minority of users." Yeah, right. Bunch of bullheaded jerks trying to protect their stock price a wee tad bit too much.
I also read some China reports that Microsoft Vista is pirated and being sold there for $1 a copy, which means that people could get a legitimate copy somewhere else, go to register it, and find the key is already registered somewhere else on Earth, marking them as a pirate. Argh, matey, Vista will send you to Davey Jones Locker.
Another report says in China that if you remove Chinese OEM releases, only 344 boxes of Windows Vista have been sold off the shelves!
