View Full Version : Executing Scripts on Log in/out?

Alright, i'm trying to write a script that will automatically mute/unmute my volume when i'm logged in or out, but i'm not sure how to make the scripts run at those times. I'm also not sure what the shell code looks like for changing the volume itself, but i can get that figured out later. If anyone knows how to execute scripts at log in/out that'd be great.

You can add something to System - Preferences - Sessions - Startup.

Edit: You can use this for executing on logout:
