Uploading music on Jamendo...

i tried the jamendo uploader program for linux, but it wouldn't accept my wav files. how can i convert them to flac format? does audacity do this?

i managed to get around it by burning to CD first then doing it from there. and just for the record, audacity doesn't do flac.

There is an app called SoundConverter (I think its in the repos, if not, it shouldnt be hard to find), it does most formats, flac included.

I cant believe none else mentioned this app...

There are also a bunch of command-line-driven conversion utilities. SoundConverter is probably the best option, though.
