Is going to be supporting Linux and selling systems with Linux on them. This is something new for us so it may take us a little bit of time to get all the kinks out of the whole thing. So come by and see us, Ubuntu will be the main flavor but we will support others also.

Our website is going to be revamped this weekend when I take back over the duties of management. The Url is http://www.cyberlinc.net, I wouldn't mind anyone advertising for us. We are also going to try offering classes 1-2 times a week. We will have a signup sheet in the shop for the classes. Like I said there is alot we are wanting to do.

Cool, Well I am on the other side of town (Trussville) but will be glad to help in any way if I can.
Do you have business cards? We have the Tech mixer coming up May 1st. We could set some of your card out it you like. Or even flyers if you have some. Just let us know!

Hey if anyone needs equipment, let me know. I am pushing Crt's and memory as quickly as I can and cheaply.

15" CRT $10.00 2+ $7.00
17" CRT $20.00 2+ $15.00
19" and up $30.00 2+ $25.00

128mb PC133 $20.00 2+ $18.00
(those seem to be the ones I have the most of LOL)

I have stuff in the shop marked at half price from printers to PIII systems, just needing to move them.

Also have some Compaq servers that I can let go cheapily, no HD caddies they are the 360 series, most have at least one CPU with 512 to 1GB of ram. Some have 2 CPU's. I can let them go for $100.00 each. That is only due to us not having to test or handle them. There can not be a choice either for that price (sorry if I don't include labor you get a better price). The system with 512 and 1 cpu is worth $100.00 anything over that is bonus. Once we get things moved and the store remodeled (after getting this stuff out of the way) I will then be able to do more when I do this kind of thing. Panzer can tell you more, he saw what i hve in front of me.

Hey Cyber Salvage dude...your link isn't working for me. Is the site just down temporarily maybe...or is it gone? I was wanting to ask if you guys have (or could order) any external sound cards for laptops? I see some online, but can't seem to find anything locally anywhere. It can be pcmcia card or usb...tho seems like the usb ones seem to be a lot cheaper. I am definitely not paying $200 or 300 for a sound card! The laptop isn't even worth that! ha!
