Just curious since Canonical is based out there, will the release happen in that time zone? Which would make it Wednesday evening over here in the US (assuming it gets released on exactly the 19th?)

Isn't Canonical based in Ireland, and not London?

edit: if it's anything like the Edgy release, it was released around 11:00-12:00 GMT.

which means it was announced in london. i think canonical is based in the isle of white.still GB though.

They're based on the Isle of Man, which is in the Irish Sea and is a British Crown dependancy.

No, Mark is a bit of a tax evader so Canonical Ltd is registered in the Isle of Man. They operate mostly out of London though.


I would not bet on a time as it is usually late.
