Hi,
For my english/american studies class, I have been tasked with the incredibly ambiguous assignment of writing about a person or subject from the 20th century. I decided to do a biography of Richard Stallman/an overview of the open source movement. In order to make this paper not only about open source, bu open source itself, I have decided to let you people do the work for me.

Seriously now, if you know of any good resources I should check out, or have your own comments, please let me know. It doesn't have to be a very long paper, so I only really need the basics. But I'd like to have a few good insights to keep it interesting.

If anyone is interested (and it turns out ok) I'll post my paper here when I'm done.

Augie

There is good documentrary about Open Source movement and Linux. I cant remember name now but perhaps someone else can point it out. Wikipedia is a good start but you probably already know that. :)
Good luck with your study

Richard Stallman/an overview of the open source movement
That should be interesting, because Richard Stallman doesn't really like open source. He prefers Free Software.
