Over at http://forums.gentoo.org they have a nice feature which allows a user to quickly scan all the unanswered questions. By going to http://forums.gentoo.org/search.php?search_id=unanswered you'll get the list sorted by date. It comes in handy if you're looking to offer some help and possibly answer someone's question.

BTW, this site very nicely layed out (like the extras on the front page) and well maintained. I hope it gets adopted as the official forums site. Thanks for all the work you guys have put into it.

It's already PRACTICALLY the official forums, it's just not hosted/supported/sponsored by canonical. The developers post here pretty regularly.

But the "Show Stoppers" section is kinda like this. It's the questions that have gone long unanswered, so not exactly what you're suggesting, but it's a start.

Yeah. It'd be a good feature to add.

The community here is very great, have to admit that.

I'm guessing that's a phpbb specific thing, I can copy that link and put in my own website and it comes up as well. (well not anymore, because they're down at the moment for major site renovation).

Ah, they're finally switching the site layout then. Good stuff!

Wha? It's been using vBulletin as long as I've been here, but before that it was using phpBB. I don't think they're changing anything up that I know of... though I have been getting "xLogic stuff" login prompts when i try to go to ubuntuforums.com every now and then, which I guess means they're updating or changing something.
