It's a website for Village Of Arcade (http://ubuntuforums.org/Village%20Of%20Arcade).

Actually, I've seen far worse.

Believe me, this is nothing compared to what websites looked like back in the mid to late 90s. Back then, everyone thought that flashing bright yellow links and big, chunky bright green ads were cool. :p

For Village of Arcade, looks like they wanted to try and replicate a Flash layout in Html instead.

What!... the animated .gif of the guy digging... with 'site under construction' isn't cool anymore?!?!

Hmm, i guess i have to change my web page now... darn!.

It's terrible. It's drawn with Paint, with choppy jpegs, with horrible fonts, with crude animations, with blocky boxes with text in them, designed ONLY for 800x600, with some crap-quality WAV file playing in the background (a train? seriously, WTF?) and with the page suddenly changing from green to blue to provide a menu that actually makes sense, yet completely out of context from the rest of the site. And ironically, the graphic for the "Beautification Committee" is the ugliest one on the site. Not the worst I've seen, but it comes pretty close.

Seriously, someone hire them a designer to make that site look NICE.

its bad but its not the worst i've ever seen or ever will see. 99.99999% of myspace pages are worse than that.

imo, this is the worst ever(except for mocking value) http://www.timecube.com/

It's pretty rough huh. Then again, a few years down the track it'll be considered retro, and such things will be back in fashion.....let's hope not!

Wow...looking at these sites is making my eyes bleed. Along with http://www.microsoft.com, may I propose that the least useful site on the Internet is probably http://support.microsoft.com? LOL

:D

The design of their website is pretty sleek, actually.

Well, sure doesn't look very professional, but I think its kind of cute, in a retro way. I've seen a lot worse over the years.

I wonder when it was first published.

<edit>
After browsing around the site for a few more minutes, I'm actually kind of impressed at how surreal this site gets. Perhaps its intended to be a post-modernist comment on the history of web design in the Eastern United States.

Wow....is that a floating police car?

I tried to visit the page, but when I clicked the link, I suddenly realized that a train was bearing down on me and I ran out of the room. It was a close call.
